Yazd Maleko-tojjar hotel has been established in the house of the same name. The house belonged to a man named Haji Ali Askar Shirazi one of the oldest merchants of Yazd. He dubbed the King of the traders title from Nasser al-Din Shah, due to his performance in the field of trading. This house has accomodated four generations of the family. The entrance has a narrow alley with high walls.The house consists of several rooms, each room has its own characteristics. Most walls and ceilings of the rooms have been painted, some of which with gold. The house is full of beautiful paintings of Shirazi artists works done in 10 years reportedly. They matches perfectly with the style of Shiraz orangery building drawings. Different parts of the house: a beautiful entrance, vestibule, hexagonal, the winter, summer terrace, wooden pillars amazing, nice yard, beautiful wind-catcher, large pool and underground passageways connecting the different parts of the building and mirror room have added to the beauty of the hotel. It is the first antique brick hotel in the world starting its activities since 1376. The hotel has 23 rooms and 55 beds capacity and because of its unique beauty is ideal place for visitors and tourists in search of tranquility and beauty.
