Lying between 2 branches off Arvand River, the border island sweeps away tourists and sightseers with its intact nature around waters. A valuable ecosystem for birds and wildlife, it is encompassed with masses of reeds.

Covering an area of 17.8 square kilometers, and a population of 12,000, it is especially the main resort for adjacent Abadanis and Khorramshahris.
